Turning on the Telly & Phone

When you reach your hospital just pick up your bedside phone and chat with our Customer Care Team so they can activate your bedside telly. This is always a FREE call from the bedside, and our Advisors are on the line for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

They'll take only a few details from you in order to get you set up with your own telephone number, but don't worry these details are never passed on to any other companies, and we don't do junk mail!

Once you've spoken with our Customer Care Team you can use the FREE services, like Radio and receive incoming calls to your bedside.

You'll find easy instructions on every screen and a printed version at every bedside. You can also contact our Customer Care Centre for advice or talk to one of our hospital Advisors on their ward rounds.

Getting Credit

If you want to use a chargeable service, like TV or Internet, you'll need to put some credit into your 'Account' on your bedside TV & Phone.

You can either add credit by purchasing a Paycard with cash at one of our many vending machines located either in or near to your ward; or just pick up your phone and chat with our Customer Care Team to purchase credit using your credit or debit card.

You can also get credit from our Advisors on their ward rounds, just look out for their pink shirts.

If you're a relative or friend, you can purchase credit for a patient by dialling 0845 414 1234 from home.

Uploading Your Credit

If you've bought a Paycard from a vending machine, then you'll need to upload the credit on the card to your bedside 'Account' on the TV. This is really easy to do...

Pop the card in the slot below the telly and follow the on-screen instructions. Once you have confirmed your name, your credit will be added from your Paycard to your Bedside Account on the TV.

Your Paycard is now empty! (the credit from the Paycard is now in your Account) So take it out of the TV and dispose of it carefully.

Now you're ready to choose a service...like Telly.
